Robert Dye Associates was formed in 1990 and features in the Architecture Foundation’s recent publication: New Architects: a Guide to Britain’s Best Young Architectural Practices. Robert worked during the first 10 years of his career with Sir James Stirling (Stirling Wilford), and then Fred Koetter (Koetter Kim) on various internationally acclaimed projects. His own practice has continued with wide recognition and publicity for over 50 built projects. The practice believes in a collaborative, inclusive process inspired through a design-led approach. We work hard to build what we imagine, and our reward is the smile of a client moving within, occupying and enjoying our architecture. |

Robert founded the practice in 1988 after eight years working for the legendary Sir James Stirling. Adrenaline and fantasy get him through the week and he hopes that his buildings will make good ruins one day. He once gave directions to David Bowie for one of his first pub gigs. Thirty years on, he's still spotting talent and showing them the way. |
